Chief Rick Mclean, Founder & CEO

Chief Dun' na eh (Rick Mclean) is the current Chief of the Tahltan Band Council. He is the visionary leader behind major mining and energy development projects in the Northwest Region of BC (e.g. Red Chris Mine, BC Forrest Kerr Hydroelectric Facility, etc.)


Chief Rick also founded the infamous Tour de Telegraph, a 112-km bike ride to raise funds for charity and to support community development projects within the Tahltan territory. He is also a strong advocate of community education and wildlife conservation.

Scott Higgins, Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Scott Higgins is the Co-Founder of Bear Claw Industries. Scott has been involved in some of the biggest petroleum, mining and construction projects in Canada, and specializes in business development and Indigenous Relations.
