RUFUS Autonomous Wildfire Protection
RUFUS (Rural and Urban Fire Suppression System) is a self-contained, mobile wildfire defense and suppression unit. RUFUS is a deployable, autonomous support unit designed to assist fire services and communities in protecting critical infrastructure in high-risk wildfire interface areas.
Not a replacement for emergency responders - but a powerful added layer of protection when it matters most.

The Core Strategy: The Humidity Bubble
Rather than fighting an active blaze after it arrives, RUFUS focuses on proactive prevention. The system projects a high-velocity, 360-degree moisture barrier over the surrounding area - dramatically raising the relative humidity of surrounding vegetation and structures, denying wind-driven embers the dry, volatile fuel required for ignition. A single unit actively blankets approximately 32,000 square feet (3,300 square metres) of operational space.
